Transfer a live chat to another agent

  1. Click the transfer icon in the top right hand corner

  2. Select the agent to whom you want to transfer the chat.

If your organization is using agent groups, you can instead select a group to transfer the chat to. This can be useful if a chat comes in to the wrong queue or needs to be escalated to a different team.

  1. Click "TRANSFER".

If transferred to an agent, the chat will be assigned to the selected agent and will be shown to them in the 'assigned to me section' and be sent a notification of the transfer.

If transferred to an agent group, the chat will transferred to the queue for that group, available for an agent from that group to start the chat. All agents in the group will receive a notification of the transfer
