Make sure all relevant assets have been imported into Mavenoid. Giving assets clear, descriptive names makes them easier to identify when applying conditions.
This feature works alongside Condition Import/Export — make sure your conditions are set up before getting started.
Select the assets you want to add or edit conditions for.
Open the context menu and select Export CSV.
Open the downloaded file in your preferred spreadsheet editor.
Each row represents a single condition value applied to an asset. An asset with multiple condition values will have multiple rows.
To edit a condition value for an asset:
Edit the value in place. Make sure the condition values you enter match existing values.
To remove a condition value:
Delete the corresponding row.
To add a new answer option to an existing condition on an asset:
Duplicate an existing row for that condition.
Edit the condition value as needed.
To add a new condition to an asset:
Open your exported conditions CSV (from Condition Import/Export) to find the Condition ID and Condition Name you want to apply.
Add new rows to the asset metadata CSV with the copied Condition ID and Condition Name.
Enter the relevant Answer Names.
For multiple condition values, add one row per value.
Save your file as a CSV.
Go to the Mavenoid Asset list.
Click Add > Import Metadata from CSV.
Select your saved file.
If there are any issues with the file, a warning will appear in the import dialog. You can download a details file next to the error message to see exactly what went wrong. If everything looks correct, confirm the import.
Your assets will now have the updated conditions applied.
Always export before editing — it ensures you have the correct format and existing IDs.
Copy Condition IDs and Condition Names directly from an exported conditions CSV to avoid errors.
This feature scales well — you can update conditions across hundreds of assets in a single CSV file.
