Preview nodes and flows

You can preview entire flows or individual nodes to see what the user will see.

It's generally a good idea to preview flow content frequently as you update it to ensure it behaves as intended.

Preview a flow

1. Click the preview button in the canvas toolbar.

2. The assistant will open on the canvas, starting with the first user-facing node.

3. You can follow the same prompts the user would see and watch the way the flow moves from node to node.

Preview a node

1. Click the preview button in the node edit panel's title bar.

2. A preview of the selected node will appear next to the edit panel, showing what the panel will look like to users.

Preview a flow starting with a specific node

1. Click the preview button in the node edit panel's title bar.

2. A preview of the selected node will appear next to the edit panel, showing what the panel will look like to users.

3. Click the "Preview flow starting with this node" button in the node preview.

4. The assistant will open on the canvas, starting with that node.

5. You can follow the same prompts the user would see and watch the way the flow moves from node to node.
